Storage of Contact Information (Wordmark Pro only)
When you purchase access to a Wordmark Pro account, we will collect and store your contact information, including your email address, name, and surname. This information will be used to communicate essential account information, provide you with invoices, and enable you to regain access to your account if you happen to forget your password. Your contact information will be stored on our database and with our payment provider Fastspring (Bright Market, LLC dba FastSpring. 801 Garden St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101). We take the privacy of your personal data seriously and will not share your email address or other contact information with any third-party without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
Storage of Tagged Font Names (Wordmark Pro only)
With a Wordmark Pro account, you are provided with the ability to categorize your fonts by assigning a tag to a selection of fonts. Doing so will result in a list of font names being recorded in our database associated with the tag name and your account. Keeping a record of your tagged fonts in our database is essential for the tagging feature to function. You have the option to delete these tags and associated font names through the interface by logging into your Wordmark Pro account.
Storage of Font Selections (Wordmark Pro only)
With a Wordmark Pro account, you have the ability to save a selection of fonts or revisit your previous selection history (A list of fonts is considered as a selection as soon as the filter selected functionality is used). By utilizing this feature, we will collect and store certain information associated with your selections, including font names, visual preferences (e.g. entered text, font size, sort order, letter spacing, line spacing, selected day or night theme and character case) in our database. This information will be linked to your account, and will be used to enable you to save your progress and revisit your previous selections. You have the option to delete this information by logging into your Wordmark Pro account, and clicking on the relevant feature to delete your selection. It is important to note that once information is deleted, it may not be recoverable. We remind you that by using this feature, you are giving your consent for the collection, use and storage of this information as described in this policy.
Use of Smart Categories (Wordmark Pro only)
With a Wordmark Pro account, you can choose to activate the Smart Categories feature to automatically have your fonts categorized. This feature operates by searching Wordmark's font categorization database for each of your font family names and returning the appropriate categorization. In the event that no categorization data is present in the database, Wordmark employs OPENAI's Large Language Model by asking it to classify the missing font families. This request solely contains the font family names and does not include any personally identifiable information.
Data Retention
Wordmark will retain the personal data we collect from you as long as necessary to provide you with the services you have requested, including any Pro account features or functionality. We may also retain certain information for legal and compliance purposes, such as for tax and accounting requirements.
