Seeing all your fonts
Wordmark knows the default system fonts that came pre-installed on your operating system (this information is publicly available) and can display your entry with those fonts. But for it to be truly useful, it also needs to show the fonts you have installed yourself.
With the new Local Font Access functionality currently supported by Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, your browser, with your permission, can reliably show your installed fonts on Wordmark.
Wordmark used to rely on a Google Chrome extension or a Microsoft Edge add-on to detect the fonts on your computer. With the introduction of Local Font Access API, installing these extensions are no longer necessary.Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers
Just like allowing your browser to access your camera and microphone on a video chat website, you can now allow the latest version of Chrome and Edge to access the fonts on your computer with the officially supported Local Font Access feature.
